Seared Tuna with Pico de Gallo

Ingredients:
4 tuna steaks (4 oz. each)
4 Italian plum tomatoes
4 green onions
2 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
2 jalapeno peppers
4 Tbsp. fresh cilantro
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. black pepper
Directions:
Rinse and dice tomato Jalapeno pepper; slice green onion and chop cilantro. In a small bowl, combine vegetables with cilantro and lime juice to make Pico de Gallo. Cover and refrigerate for flavors to blend. Rinse and pat dry tuna; rub with olive oil and season with black pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet to high, add oil1 and sear tuna for about 2 minutes on one side; turn and reduce heat to medium; cook for about 5 to 7 more minutes covered for rare or medium doneness. Serve topped with Pico de Gallo.
